Don Lesh, the owner and creator of LESHRODS has been an avid fly fisherman for many years. It was his love of flyfishing, along with his talent in fine woodworking that moved him to begin handcrafting his own bamboo fly rods.
LESHRODS are constructed of Tonkin cane bamboo. Don then hand splits the bamboo and thus begins the intricate design of the fly rod. He has a shop at his residence where he uses the many handmade tools and materials needed to construct his rod creations. Don dedicates numerous hours to all of his handcrafted works to ensure the highest quality bamboo fly rod.
